Holiday Placemat and Optional Coaster

Pretty for any Christmas dinner table or party!  If you make it without snowflakes, you can also use this set for Valentine’s Day, birthdays and other special Holidays!  Snowflake is knit separately and sewn on. 

A cute idea is to make more Snowflakes and hang in your kitchen window for a more “Holiday” accent appeal.  Use placemat by itself for a centerpiece on  your table for Christmas or any time of the year!  Don’t forget to make these easy snowflakes for package trims, or trim your hats and tote bags too!  This pattern uses worsted weight yarn, a size 4 yarn and knitting needles US # 10.
