We at Frugal Haus remember wearing these from many years ago. As children, this was our “Sunday” hat. The rest of the week was a nice thick pull on hat. This was our dressy hat, and we felt so cute when wearing it. We observed the patterns over the years, and came up with our own , warmer version. It has a bit thicker scarf portion than most other patterns. Fits children and women. Uses about 2 ½ to 3 ounces of worsted weight yarns. Even less, depending on brand of yarn used. Knit up very quickly too, using knitting needles, US # 8. A nice thick hat, with easy ties that are knitted first, then onward to the hat part! It is fast and easy!
