It looks more Peruvian with bright colors, but you can choose your own color scheme. You can also knit up in plain colors. Nice warm earflaps add to Peruvian style, and warmth. Knit up then sew on when hat is done. This is knit on 2 needles, back and forth, so no double points here! Just sew up a small back seam when finished. Uses scraps of sport weight yarns, knitting needles, 1 pair each # 1 and # 3. The needle sizes make the fabric dense for more warmth and stability of hat.
