This is a good way to try an Icelandic style knit in pattern, before you tackle a sweater! You will get the feel for the pattern coloring in this simple hat. Nice style, fits both men and women. Easy graph to follow will have you finished with the color knit part in no time. Nice easy fit at top of head. Uses worsted weight yarns, and 16 inch circular US #8. Plus you will need a few double pointed needles US # 8 to decrease and finish top of hat. But dont worry, there are not too many rows of working with double points, and then you are done!
