This is a toasty warm hat, that has the “helmet” type fit. It will keep necks, ears , and head warm! It slips easily over the top of the head. Children have no problem putting this on all by themselves. This is made warm with worsted weight yarn, and knitting needles US # 5 and # 7. Fits children from 12 months to 4-5 years. This will knit up quickly too. You can make these in many different colors, as when one is wet with snow; you will have a spare for the little one to wear! This only uses about 2 ½ to 3 ½ ounces of worsted weight yarn too. You will get requests to make more of these!
