It’s a “hat” or it’s a “purse”. You decide. The teen’s in your life will love this! They can wear it like a hat, tie a loop in the purse handle so hat stays in place on head. Or “knot” the handle to shorten and turn hat upside down and it’s a purse! A cute clever idea! Color graph is an easy 8 stitch repeat around hat. This knits up in no time with worsted weight yarns, knitting needles, US # 8, in either 16” or 24” length circular. You will need double pointed needles for last few rounds of decreasing at top of hat. Add a pompon and you are all done!
